誰にでも、自分の体に完璧にフィットした、また自分にとっての最高のシルエットを出してくれる超お気に入りのジーンンズが１本はあるはず。なかには、他人に勝手に触らせないとか、他人が洗濯するなんてもってのほか！　なんて言う人もいます。しかしながら、お気に入りほど履く回数は増えてしまうし、過酷な状況のなかにさらしてしまう確率は高くなるもの。それを繰り返していくうちに、薄くなっていく生地の部分がほつれたり、裂けたりしてしまうのは避けようの無い事実です。もし、あなたの超お気に入りのジーンズのお尻の部分が、思いがけずビビビッ！　と派手に破れてしまったら、あなたはどうしますか？

そんなときに即駆け込みたいのが、この『Denim Therapy（デニム・セラピー）』。2006年にオープンしたこの『デニム・セラピー』は、ジーンズに限らず、デニム素材でできたアパレル専門のリペア・ショップ。ここでは、損害ひどさに関係なく、どんなほつれや穴でも修繕してくれ、その作業の完璧さは目を疑うほどです。気になる料金は、目安として“1インチ（2.5cm）につき7ドル”が基本となっています。また、修繕を終えて仕上がったアイテムは、ピックアップではなく、すべて発送になっているので、送料として1アイテムにつき12ドルがかかります。残念ながら、これは米国内のみ（もちろんＮＹ州以外も可）のサービスなので、日本からどうしても治したいアイテムがある場合は、米国内の友人などに頼むか、または、旅行する機会があれば、日本から日数的に余裕をみて発送しておき、期日指定で滞在先のホテルなどに発送してもらう方法があります。電話でのサービスがないため、質問がある場合はメールでこちら（info@denimtherapy.com）まで、また修繕の申し込みはここから（http://denimtherapy.com/repairnow/）できるようになっています。もしも、タンスの奥でまだ眠っている、“捨てられない１本”がある人は、すぐにコンタクトしてみましょう！
