【ブルーマングループ】とは、全身真っ青の3人組の音楽パフォーマンスショー。1991年に始まって以来快進撃を続けているブルーマンですが、2007年12月1日『BLUE MAN GROUP』の為に作られたという六本木のインボイス劇場で日本公演も始まります。今月9月15日にチケットを販売し、既に12月分のチケットは完売しているという人気ぶりである。既にアメリカ、ヨーロッパなど各地域で大成功を収めているブルーマンだが、日本人に受け入れられるのか。今後の展開が楽しみである。

あらすじ
ストーリーはとくにないが、彼らは言葉は全く発せずドラムやチューブを使って音楽を奏で、コミカルな動きで見るものを魅了する。あの青い顔からギョロリとした目で凝視されると始めは逃げたくなるような恐怖を感じる。この公演は参加型のショーになっているので、観客の中から何場面かで手を引いて舞台に上げられます。観客から一人とブルーマン3人でテーブルに座ってパフォーマンスをする場面は傑作です。選ばれた観客の動きがかなり重要。選ばれたくない方は、ひたすら目をそらしてください。ブルーマンはあなたを選びません。選ばれたい方は、あまりアピールしずぎず、シャイすぎない点がポイントのようです。前の方に座った人が選ばれるというわけではないので、後方の席の方にもチャンスはあります。また、このパフォーマンスの中にはおどろきの仕掛けが満載。瞬きしている暇はありません。オフブロードウェイという小さい劇場だから味わえる、舞台との一体感を肌で感じでください
